Here are a number of common terms used on this web site along with their definitions:
Affiliate Marketing
Form of performance based advertising provided by a third-party to promote your goods or services. Referred traffic is measured by click of a link, often tracked by web cookies.
Ip Address
Your IP address is the street address of your server on the Internet. In a shared hosting environment you may share with others, however, for virtual private and dedicated hosting you'll have your own addresses.
Pay Per Click (PPC)
A type of marketing primarily done with search engines and social media directories that provides a fee per visitor, rather than impression. Allows targeting of specific market demographics.
